Sony Xperia Z1 Officially Launched – Features & Specifications IFA 2013
The Xperia Z1 is official, codenamed the Honami. It’s coming in Black, white, and purple back covers and it’s the one piece aluminum frame, looking totally similar to the Xperia Z. The G Lens from Sony which was expected to come in it, is truly coming. It’s the Exmor RS lens, which would be used to bring out excellent pictures.
It comes with a lot of new features, including the Social live where you can just shoot it out directly to the social network friends. Info-eye, another new software, where you get info on anything you photograph. Such as “what food goes with that bottle of wine.”
The Timeshift burst in the camera takes around 61 photos within 2 seconds, where around 30 are taken as soon as the shutter is pressed, and the other 30 in the next couple of seconds.
It’s mostly about the camera that Sony has concentrated on, during the announcement of the Xperia Z1, with the other features including Superior Auto, AR Effect, Picture Effect, Sweep Panorama etc.
Similar to the Xperia Z, it’s a 5-inch Full HD display in the Xperia Z1 too, and there’s the latest Snapdragon processor included in the Z1.
As the announcement says: “Every Xperia Z1 sold here in Germany” and other European markets will come with “approximately 100 euros’ worth” of free Sony entertainment content.
